Uruguay – South Korea World Cup, start time, TV channel, live stream | Update News

In the opening match of Group H, two of the Premier League’s biggest names: Darwin Nunez’s Uruguay take on South Korea’s Son Heung-min.

The Tottenham striker has not played since breaking his eye socket earlier in the month but intends to wear the captain’s armband and face mask to help his country on the biggest stage of them all.

Son played as South Korea went through the qualifiers, but their recent World Cup record is poor as they crashed in the group stage in the last two editions.

Uruguay proved to be the best behind Brazil and Argentina in the South American qualifiers and head coach Diego Alonso has a squad full of quality and experience.

The two-time World Cup winners reached the quarter-finals in Russia four years ago and came into the tournament in great form, having won seven of their nine matches this calendar year.

RadioTimes.com has put together everything you need to know about how to watch Uruguay v South Korea on TV and online.

Uruguay – South Korea picks

The Uruguay squad is full of quality and tournament know-how from back to front and should prove too good for South Korea, who scored seven goals in three friendlies against South American opponents in the summer.

Liverpool striker Nunez seemed to be getting into a rhythm just before the Premier League hit the pause button and should have plenty of chances to find the back of the net.

Our prediction: Uruguay 2-0 South Korea (7/1 in bet365)
